Vittorio Genna

Co-Founder and Vice Chairman

In 1995 Vittorio co-founded AIP Italia along with Franco and Fulvio Scannapieco, where he still serves on the Board of Directors as Vice Chairman.  

In 2009, Fulvio and Vittorio led the merger of AIP Italia with Avio Import, creating a new company, ALA SpA., now a subsidiary of AIP Italia. 

He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of GA.FI. Soc.Coop.p.A. (Garanzia Fidi Società Cooperativa per Azioni), one of Confindustria’s Confidi, supervised by the Bank of Italy. 

In June 2021, he was elected Representative in the General Council of the Industrial Union of Naples (Unione Industriali Napoli) for the two-year period 2021-2023 and, as of May 2022, he was appointed Vice President of the Industrial Union of Naples, an appointment confirmed for the second two-year period 2024-2026 with new delegations: Infrastructure, Logistics, Transportation, Sea Economy, Territorial Competitiveness, Implementation of the Single SEZ, Industrial Development Areas.  

He was awarded the title of “Commendatore dell’Ordine Al Merito della Repubblica Italiana” at the end of 2018, one of the highest honors of the Italian Republic.  

In 2019 he was appointed Honorary Consul of Hungary in Naples for the Campania and Calabria Regions. In 2023 the consular district was also extended to the Puglia Region. 

Vittorio holds a degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Transportation from the University of Naples Federico II.
